Classic Camper Cool: We Visit the RV Museum and Hall of Fame

-The late Dusty Crum was one of the greats. Crum, an RV retailer starting in 1967, owned and operated Dusty’s Camper World (now Camping World of Bartow) in Bartow, Florida. For his efforts, Crum was inducted into the RV/MH Hall of Fame (for recreational vehicles and manufactured housing, naturally) in 1999. ---Located in Elkhart, Indiana, the RV/MH Hall of Fame is more than just the hall-of-famers whose names and faces grace its walls—it’s also a library and museum (or, as the RV/MH Hall of Fame calls it, the RV Founders Hall), housing volumes upon volumes of recreational-vehicle and manufactured-housing literature, as well as more than 100 years' worth of classic campers.-1913 “Earl” Travel Trailer-1913 “Earl” Travel Trailer-1916 Telescoping Apartment carried by 1915 Ford Model T-1937 Hunt Housecar by J.
